Hello likeminded folks,

I read an article that I disagree with on many points, but it raises interesting issues. http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=18555

The basic question though: Why Libertarian? Why not Republican? I recognize the problems in the Republican party, but I also recognize that they are winning the votes. At the end of the day, isn't that what matters?

So why Libertarian? I'm hoping that you veterans can shed light because, based off of the track record, I don't know if the answer to that question is affirmative.

Thanks for your time.
